Trevor Organ - Yorkshire man, cabaret artiste and the self styled 'Sultan of Spin' has been to Boom Boom once before and is surprised to be asked back. He is most well known for his spectacular plate-spinning act 'Trevor Organ's Cracking Crockery'. He also spins yarns about his dog, mum and showbiz family, all spiced through with some nifty plate manipulation and maybe Auntie Caroline's infamous ping-pong ball routine.
One Of Cabaret Boom Boom‘s old friends, we're taking Trevor to Wirksworth as he's not getting a summer holiday due to his bus pass being withdrawn.
Old time Rags
The Old Time Rags Travelling show is an interactive show with a vaudevillian flair. Performing good time, blues, folk, roots and jazz from the turn of the century. One Man band Laurence Marshall and percussive dancer Phoebe Douthwaite present an energetic array of skilful performances. Expect honking horns, duelling banjos, dazzling tap dancing and slapping spoon playing!!....
Genevieve Carver, Poet, egg scrambler, parallel parker
A Sheffield-based poet interested in finding the humanity amidst the chaos. She began to enchant audiences in 2011 with her trademark mix of humour and melancholy, and now performs regularly at prestigious events across the country, having supported artists such as Buddy Wakefield and Hollie McNish.
