Richard Garaghty

Richard has been amazing audiences as an actor, comedian and street performer for over 20 years. He has performed his hugely popular one man street show at many theatre festivals across the world including at the famous Covent Garden, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The National Theatre, The Smirnoff Comedy Festival and the Cape Town Street Theatre Festival.
Other highlights include being part of the Rolling Stones World tour, starring in the Open University programme Ever Wondered on BBC2 and making guest appearances with Spymonkey at The Purcell Rooms, Glastonbury and at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Acting roles include a leading role in a several Dr. Who BBC Radio plays, starring in the West End in the acclaimed play Monsieur D’eon, lead roles in BBC short films and playing one of the huge robots in CBBC hit Mission 2110. He works with Millennium FX regularly and this year has been an belly dancing Orangutang in a chocolate commercial, an Ape in Dubai with Dom Joly and recently in Star Wars!
Recently he has appeared as his comedy character Evel Kinell in The Shaftesbury Theatre in the West End, appeared twice in Doctor Who on BBC1 and made his feature film debut as the lead in “Back To the Garden” which was released nationwide in 2014.
He is an original member of Slightly Fat Features the award winning variety troupe.
