She has made props and backdrops for theatre for over 10 years, handprints and sells erotic wallpaper through Coco De Mer in London and in 2012 started her role as Cabaret Boomboom Stage Manager.
‘I absolutely love working for Cabaret Boomboom and find it is a great inspiration for my art practice as I love to make people laugh through my creativity, I believe that having an element of humour in life certainly make it all worth while’. www.sarahjanepalmer.co.uk
Jane loves being part of the team, not least because it gives her a valid reason to browse charity shops for fancy outfits on a regular basis.
It also offers a great contrast to her day job of working in and re-designing outdoor play spaces for early years settings. Building dens and mixing up mud pies definitely requires different clothing…’. You can find her at http://www.yardexplorers.co.uk
Claire, also known as Madam Mango, is an experienced aerial and ground based circus performer, often to be found upside down. Specialising in rope, she also performs trapeze, silks, aerial hoop and hula hoops. www.madammango.co.uk
Finbarr finds that one of the many smashing things about the cabaret is the opportunity to wear a fez. His other highlights include teasing Matt Rose, dancing to Mr Music’s tunes, and climbing the big stepladders at the end of the night when he’s drunk some beer. He is findable at www.finkfurniture.co.uk
The man behind the bar. He can be relied upon to provide the correct measures, and is incredibly talented when it comes to throwing and catching things – which is why it came as such a surprise to discover he is amazingly bad at cricket!
Our very own Jedi master of all things technological.
Sound engineer and composer of bizarre comedy songs written and performed from the perspective of gross caricatures. www.freaksouting.com
